It is our policy to offer preventive medicine for all patients, our nurse offers "well person" checks and advice on disease prevention. Patients with asthma, coronary heart disease, diabetes or hypertension are advised to attend regular check- ups.
Clinics
Ante-natal clinic is held on a Thursday between 9.00am to 4.00pm in conjunction with our community midwives.
Baby clinic is run by the health visitors to maintain child health surveillance for children from 0 to 5 years of age.
This clinic is held on Tuesday mornings every other week between 9.30am to 11.00am.
Child development clinic appointments will be sent out for the regular assessment. Two health visitors are present at each clinic.
Other Services
Immunisation - we are keen for all children and adults to have all the required immunisations. All vaccinations and advice are available by appointment with the Practice nurse.
Cervical Smears - these are carried out by our Practice Nurse. We also operate a recall system in conjunction with Wolverhampton CCG.
Contraception - we offer a family planning service including contraceptive pill, coils, post coital and emergency contraception. We also do implants.
Minor Surgery - this practice is approved for minor surgery and the doctor is included in the CCG list to carry our minor operations in the surgery at a time to be arranged between the doctor and patient.
Flu Injections - during October and November we offer "flu" injections, particularly to the patients at risk. Please ask at reception.
