Access to services
- Patients with urgent medical conditions will be given priority and will be seen as soon as possible, even if this delays other patients' appointments,
- You will have received appropriate medical care from suitably qualified staff on the basis of clinical need. We will give you a clear explanation of any treatment proposed, including any risks or alternatives, before you decide whether you agree to the treatment.
- You will be referred to a consultant, or other Health Service Professional acceptable to you, when it is agreed that this is necessary.
Information
- We will offer advice and information on steps you can take to maintained good health and inform you of services provided.
- Under the terms of the Disability Discrimination Act, we can arrange to provide this leaflet in alternative request such as Braille or audio cassette also in other languages.
